Delbert Delaska Cottrell was born at Fargo, Oklahoma, January 23, 1914, and died March 18, 1947. He leaves to mourn their loss his mother and one brother, Murray Cottrell of Roy, four sisters, Lulu Henderson, Edwina Engellant, Edith tanner, and Theo Nevill, all of Geraldine; nineteen nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held in the Geraldine community church on March 21st with the Rev. Herbert officiating. Ted Johnson of Square Butte sang two solos with Mrs. W.W. Webb as the accompanying pianist. Casket bearers were four former schoolmates, Manford and Clarence Sande, Ralph and Raymond Buchanan, also Billie Witt of Great Falls and Frank Thronson. Interment was made in the Geraldine cemetery.
