US Air ForceJames Cowell Price, 76, of Havelock, died on Wednesday, April 27, 2011, at Cherry Point Bay Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

He was a lifetime member of Cherry Point Baptist Church in Havelock. He served 21 years in the U.S. Air Force, retiring as a senior master sergeant. He worked 19 years as a civilian employee at NADEP, working as a quality control supervisor.

Service will be 4 p.m. Sunday at Cherry Point Baptist Church with the Rev. Stephen Epperson officiating.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Patricia Ann Price of Havelock; one daughter, Janet Suzanne Burks of Millsboro, Del.; one son, James Marvin Price of Havelock; one sister, Patricia Rhodes of Proctorville; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Sunday at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Continuum Home Care and Hospice, 1505 South Glenburnie Ave., Market Place Unit M, New Bern, NC 28562.
