On 19 Feb 1972, he married Fleurange Thibault Girardin, daughter of Joseph Thibault and Alfredine Bosse, at Saints Peter and Paul Church in Lewiston. Roger died at age 61 and was interred in Saint Peter's Cemetery in Lewiston.
