She was an instructural assistant 10 years at W.C. Mills Elementary and Wabash Jr. High Schools. She was a member of the Wabash First United Methodist Church and the Margaret Wilson Circle. She was also a member of the Lake Lovers Club and the Conservation Club, both of Warsaw. Ethel Mae loved to cook, bake and travel. She and her husband lived at Chapman Lake in Warsaw 12 years.
Survivors include her husband, Jack L. Miller, of Wabash; three sons - Scott (Jane) Miller of Wabash, Jonathan (Nancy) Miller of Peru, and Tim (Hilda) Miller of Laketon; a daughter, Mrs. David (Luann) Moberg of Indianapolis; a daughter-in-law Gaye Miller of Wabash; a brother Lamoine (Sally) Scott of Wabash; a sister, Mrs. Tom (Lois) Zook of Auburn, IN; 16 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. A son, J.D. Miller died June 22, 2002.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 12, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. at Grandstaff-Hentgen Main Street Chapel, Wabash, with Pastor James MacDonald and Pastor Bill Garver officiating. Burial will take place in Memorial Lawns Cemetery of Wabash. Preferred memorials are to First United Methodist Church.
