Franklin was a Blacksmith. According to his death record, Frank had Chronic Nephritis. Nephritis refers to inflammation in one or both kidneys. It can be caused by infection but is most commonly caused by auto-immune disorders, such as Lupus, that affect major organs. His nephew, George Gary Liddick, died of Chronic Nephritis as well.
