Arthur L. Bevers, 83, died Wednesday, Feb 20, 2003, of heart failure. He was born in Lakeview, Texas, and retired from the Army.
Art and Darlene were owners of Bevers Center Cafe for 17 years. Art proudly served in the Army in WWII as a mess sergeant in Europe during the crossing of the Rhine River. Art and Darlene were married for 55 years.
They had six children: Ron, Karen (deceased), His
brothers Joe Leon and Lewis. His parents, three brothers and three sisters preceded him in death.
