CRAWFORD - Martha Adams Patty, 93, died April 27, 2010, at Landmark of Desoto in Horn Lake. Graveside services are today at 2 p.m. at Bethesda Baptist Cemetery with the Rev. Marion Dees officiating. Visitation is today at 12:30 p.m. until graveside service time at Calvert Funeral Home.
She was born May 4, 1916 in Macon to the late Sally Pagan and Lemuel Garner Adams Sr. Mrs. Patty was a retired assembler with Howard Manufacturing Co. in Starkville. She was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Ann Gaston. She is survived by her daughters, Ida May Flinn, of Hernando, Martha R. Mayes, of Brandon, Jane P. Brooks, of Hernando, Linda P. Rushing, of Tylertown; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; sisters, Anna Lois DiDomenico, of LaPlata, Md., and Libby Sprecher of Macon. Pallbearers are Leslie Flinn, Doug Ming, George Haydu, Sam Rushing, Mike Rushing, Bill Sherman and Delmas Brooks.
