The youngest of seven children of Fredrick William & Ida Anna Hensen Meyer, she was known as "Sissy" to her childhood family & friends.
She married Perry Wenger in 1955. They had four children.
Coming home from a dinner outing with friends she was a passenger in her husband's (Perry) Ford. They entered the intersection of North and Beech when 2 cars dragracing entered from the south. She was thrown out of the car and died instantly.
She is buried in her parents' plot.
