She married Elmer Coombs on June 8, 1923 in Salt Lake City, Utah. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died August 19, 1969.
She was raised and educated in Robin, Idaho, and lived in Farmington, Utah before moving to Fielding, Utah.
Alice was an LDS Relief Society Visiting Teacher and worked for the Box Elder County Board of Education as a Clerk in Fielding and Bear River.
Surviving are two sons: Richard M Coombs, Deweyville, Utah; and Douglas E Coombs, Garland, Utah; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one brother and four sisters: Mrs Ivy Lawson, Farmington, Utah; Minnie Millard, Farmington, Utah; Mrs A V (Mary) Smoot, Corrine, Utah; Mrs Edgar (Dora) Smoot; Centerville, Utah; and James R Millard, Farmington, Utah.
Burial was held in the Fielding City Cemetery, Field, Utah.
