Bill Baird Abbott was the son of James G. Abbott, born in SD, and Olive (Yeaton) Abbott, born in NB.

At some point he played semi pro baseball.

Married 1st to (unknown) and had a child or children per his memorial stone.

(Dunham) Frakes, (twice divorced), on the day after her 31st birthday, June 3, 1945, on Los Angeles, Co, CA. She also worked on Air Craft; among the thousands of women known as 'Rosey the Riveter'.

Some time later they moved to Northern California and resided in Nice. There Rae and her sister Dorothy owned and operated a guest home for women. After being married 24 years they filed for divorce in Oct 1969, Lake Co, CA. Bill died the following year in Whittier.
