AGENCY-- Thomas Myers Creath, 77, died today at 9:30 a.m. of a heart attack at his home, 110 N. College Street, in Agency.
He was born Jan. 2, 1885, near Ashland, the son of George and Melissa Myers Creath. He lived in the Ashland and Agency communities most of his life.
He was married April 17, 1907 to Jennie Stull of County Line. She survives. To this union, five children were born, all of whom survive. They are Mrs. Irene O'Neal of Falls Church, Va.; Wendell Creath of Elgin, Ill.; Boyd Creath of Pinehurst, N.C.; Mrs. Ava Newquist of Agency; and Mrs. Muriel Hawes of Clarendon Hills, Ill.
He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Five brothers and sisters preceded him in death. He was the last of his family.
Mr. Creath was a member of the Agency Methodist Church.
The body is at the Campbell Funeral Home in Eldon. The service will be held at the Agency Methodist Church, The time pending the arrival of relatives.
