Note: Thomas & Ada were strong in their faith and went to the New Jerusalem Church on Beacon Hill in Boston. Thomas was a lover of music and very talented. He would hold musical parties in their home in BrooKline. They had 6 children, a governess and 4 domestic servants. Thomas was a kindly man, whose beaming face suggested a resemblance to one of the Cheeryble brothers of Charles Dickens.
