CLAXTON - Mrs. Grace Brewton McDaniel, 85, died June 9 at home. She was a member of Claxton First Baptist Church, Retired Teachers Association, Evans Memorial Hospital Pink Ladies, Senior Citizens and the T.E.L. Sunday School Class. She was a secretary for the County Agent's office. SURVIVORS: two sons, Leonard J. McDaniel of Macon and Jimmy L. McDaniel of Melbourne, Fla.; two sisters, Edith Smith of Claxton and Mary L. Hodges of Fleming; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. VISITATION: 7-9 p.m. today at NeSmith Funeral Home, Claxton. FUNERAL: 2 p.m. Friday at Claxton First Baptist Church, burial in Brewton Cemetery.
