Funeral services for L. G. Clifton, 73, of Pampa were held Friday, Dec. 31, at Briarwood Full Gospel Church in Pampa with the Rev. Lynn Hancock, pastor, and the Rev. Gene Allen, retired, officiating.
Interment followed in Fairview Cemetery under direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.
Mr. Clifton was born Jan. 11, 1931, in Silverton at the Schott Ranch. He died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2004, in Amarillo.
He and Joyce Shaw were married June 12, 1954, in Olney.
Mr. Clifton founded Clifton Equipment in 1969 and retired from Clifton Supply in 1995.
He was a member of the Briarwood Full Gospel Church where he was a board member for two terms.
Survivors include his wife Joyce Clifton of Pampa; a son Shawn Clifton and wife Lisa of Pampa; a sister Melba Adams of Olney; a brother Jimmy Clifton of Ft. Morgan, Colo.; two grandsons Corbin Clifton and Cyler Clifton, both of Pampa.
