The marriage of Peter Strinden to Miss Aggie Hanson was celebrated at the Norwegian Lutheran Church in this city at 5:00 p. m. Wednesday July 2, 1908. Rev. M. L. Nesvig officiating. Misses Inga Olson of Griswold and Anna Lee of Fingal were bridesmaids and George Olson and Theodore Strinden acted as groomsmen. Miss Hilda Lee played the wedding march. The Church was handsomely decorated in green and white with potted palms and plants in profusion. The bride was attired in crème albatross and carried a bouquet of carnations and ferns. The wedding supper was served at the residence of John M. Olson. Out of town guests were Rev. Berger from Fort. Ransom, Mrs. T. I. Strinden of Pelican Rapids, Martin Olson of Lisbon.

P. STRINDEN PASSES AWAY

Peder Strinden, a former resident of Litchville and Hastings, passed away at a Los Angeles, Calif., Hospital on August 9th.

He was born on a farm near Pelican Rapids, Minn., April 1st, 1882.

He leaves his wife, Aggie, of Wilmington; a daughter Mildred, San Francisco; two sons Jerome of Wilmington, Cal.; and Eugene of Everett, Wash., and two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Berger of Fort Ransom, Mrs. Oscar Fjestad of Pelican Rapids, two brothers Norman of Forest Lake, Minn.; and Ted of Litchville and five grandchildren.

He visited here in Litchville a few months back, and at that time he appeared to be fairly well and he enjoyed his stay here so very much.
