Moved to Indiana in 1821 to Rush Co., Union Twp. Indiana in 1821 On May 18, 1825 Donovan Groves, the grantee, received from Robert Groves, the grantor, a warranty deed in consideration of "love", for 50 acres of land in Township 14, Range 11, Rush County, Indiana.[General Index of
Deeds, Rush Co., Indiana Book A:244] He was buried in the
cemetery land that his father had deeded to the Methodist Episcopal Church in 1834, now known as Fairview Cemetery northeast of Rushville, Indiana.
