SCRANTON -- Mr. Liston L. Parrott, 78, died Friday, June 28, 2002, at his residence after an illness.
Mr. Parrott was born in Lake City, a son of the late Walter and Louise McGee Parrott. He was a carpenter.
Survivors include a son, DuRant Parrott of Johnsonville; four brothers, Laverne Parrott of Lake City, Wesley Parrott of Johnsonville, Bill Parrott of Oklahoma and Levette McCutcheon Parrott of Scranton; two sisters, Ida "Dollie" Evans of Coward and Annie Mae Miles of Scranton; five grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, July 1, in Brockington Funeral Home Chapel, Lake City, with burial in Scranton United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will have visitation from 7 to 9 p.m. today in the funeral home.
