Mr. Walter Laverne Parrott, age 73, died Monday, January 13, 2014 at his home after an illness.
Born in Florence County, he was a son of the late Walter Parrott and Evelyn Louise McGee Parrott. Mr. Parrott was a retired farmer, carpenter, owner and operator of Parrott's Grocery, and attended Floyd's Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church.
He was preceded in death by an infant son, Dexter Leonard Parrott.
