On August 1st, 1928 he married Agnes Evelyn Kimball in Hebron, Nebraska. To this union was born 8 children. 4 boys- Richard, Ora, Loren and Clyde Jr. 4 girls- Ruth, RoseMarie, Myrna and Doris.
Early in his marriage, he moved his young family to Washington where he lived out the remaining days of his life.
