Curtis Theodore Mann, the son of Russell Curtis Mann & Nancy Evelyn Birdsell was born May 4, 1903 in Glen Elder, Jewell county, Kansas. Family moved to Eckley, Yuma county, Colorado when Curtis (aka Ted) was a teenager & it is there that he met his sweetheart, Jessie Marie Dull, whom he married. They had five children, Raymond, Wanda Bauder, Darrell, Juanita McCauley, & Myrtle Stockwell.
