Pat J. (Ward) Buntin, 80, passed from this life into the presence of the Lord on Saturday, June 24, 2011. She was born to Corbett and Hattie (Bond) Ward on April 29, 1931 in Bixby, OK.
Pat attended Sand Springs Schools graduating with the Class of 1949. She married Glenn L. Buntin, Sr. on March 10, 1950 at the First Assembly of God Church in Sand Springs, OK. Together they raised two sons, Glenn Buntin, Jr. and Rick Buntin. Pat and Glenn were faithful and longtime members of the First Assembly of God Church.
She spent her career serving as a Payroll Accountant, retiring from General Corrosion in 1986. In her spare time she enjoyed shopping, reading, watching sports and traveling, but was happiest spending time with her loving family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Corbett and Hattie Ward; and brother, Paul Ward.

Viewing and visitation will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, June 27, 2011, Tuesday, June 28, 2011, and Wednesday, June 29, 2011.
A Funeral Service honoring Pat will be held at 1:00 p.m., June 30, 2011 at First Assembly of God, 501 N. Grant, Sand Springs, OK. Officiating will be Pastor Luis Torres and Reverend J.C. Morgan. Interment will immediately follow at Woodland Memorial Park.
