Mrs. Kelinske was born Dec. 2, 1914, in McLennan County near West, the daughter of Robert and Anna (Groppe) Baese. She attended school in Ross. On May 15, 1962, she was united in marriage to Ernest J. Kelinske in Waco and he preceded her in death Jan. 19, 2000. Rosie was a homemaker and worked at the Baese family dairy, as well as a substitute teacher in Ross. She was a longtime and faithful member of the First United Church in West, where she served on various committees and as the pianist from the age of 14 until 1979.
Rosie was also preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Reinhold Baese and his wife, Eva; three sisters, Alma Kelinske, Olga Baese and Clara Baese; and a brother-in-law Felix Kelinske.
Survivors include a sister-in-law, Barbara Lander and husband, Lonnie; six cousins; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Emil Bluhm, Herbert Groppe, Henry Moravec Jr., Mike Lander, Wilford Schuetz and Gary Drews. Honorary pallbearers will be Virgil Schuetz, James Middlebrook, Kenneth Wayne Aleman and Kermit Baese.
