Mrs. Baese's Funeral Rites Set at West
WEST (SPL) -- Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Baese of West, Route 2, will be at St. Peter's United Church of Christ here at 2 p.m. today. Rev. Lynn Welch will officiate. Burial will be in Closner Cemetery.
Mrs. Baese died at her home Monday after an illness of several months. She was 89.
Mrs. Baese is a native of West and a lifelong resident of the West area.
She was married to Robert Baese on Jan. 10, 1906. He died in June, 1944.
Survivors include a son, Reinhold Baese of Route 2, West; three daughters, Miss Olga Baese and Miss Clara Baese and Mrs. Ernest Kelinske all of Route 2, West; two brothers, August Groppe and Henry Groppe, both of Route 2, West; a sister, Mrs. Maggie Schuetz of Gerald community; a grandson, Robert Baese of Route 2, West.
