Anna Pavlyak Kosct, 88 [1918], of Auburn, died Tuesday, November 28, 2006. She was a life resident of Auburn, and retired from the Auburn Correctional Facility. She had also worked at Gleason-Avery. She was a member of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church and a member of the St. Marion Sisterhood.
Survivors: daughters, Julianna (Michael) Speck of Auburn and Mary (Manuel) Leon of San Antonio, Texas, grandchildren, Barbara, Michael, Peter and Christina Speck, and Mark Leon; sisters, Helen Pirone of Virginia, Mary Pantalos of Ohio; her brother, George Pavlyak of Syracuse; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, William Kosct, in 1987.
Services: 9 a.m. Friday from the Plis Funeral Home and 9:30 a.m. in St. Nicholas Orthodox Church. Burial in St. Nicholas Cemetery, Half Acre.
