Louabelle M. Besecker, 74, of Arcanum, died Oct. 28, 2011, at her residence.
Mrs. Besecker was born in Arcanum on Dec. 8, 1936, the daughter of the late Roy and Echo (Fourman) Anderson.
She was a former member of the Immanuel Baptist Church. Before retirement, she was a bakery manager at the Suttons Super Value.
Louabelle was preceded in death by her husband, Berlin B. Besecker, who died July 3, 1983, two sisters, Clara Fourman and Alyce Shoop.
She is survived by two daughters, Pamela Baumgardner of Greenville, and Debra Allen and husband Ben of Arcanum; four sons, Bud Besecker and wife Sharon of Arcanum, Terry Besecker of Greenville, Gary Besecker and wife Brenda of Arcanum, and Larry Besecker and Lora of Greenville; grandchildren Tina (Tony) Melling, Tara (Rob) Little, Teri (Tyler) Dienterle, BJ (Brittany) Allen, Jason (Rachel) Besecker, Ryan Besecker, Alicia Nichols, Cody Baumgardner, Holly Besecker, Jessalyn Besecker, James Blankenship, Steve Blankenship, Ashley Baltes; 18 great-grandchildren; sister Mary (Ira) Hicks of Bradford; brothers Ray Anderson and wife Linda of Cocoa Beach, Fla., and Bob Anderson and wife Jeanne of Arcanum.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. on Monday at the Kreitzer Funeral Home, Arcanum, with Pastor Doug Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Abbottsville Cemetery.
The family will receive relatives and friends Sunday 2 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home. Family suggests memorial contributions to Spirit Medical Transport Community Fund, 5484 State Route 49 S., Greenville, Ohio 45331. Condolences may be sent to www.KreiterFuneralHomeInc.com.
