He graduated from the Jefferson Medical College, Philadelphia, PA May 2, 1893. During WWI, he served in the medical corp. He enlisted Sept. 10, 1917 and served in the hospital at Camp Dix, N.J., Camp Stewart VA, and on the U.S.A. C.T. "Eagle" and "Peerless" as Ship's Surgeon. He was the coroner for the county and served as president of the Indiana, PA medical society.
