Funeral services for Nettie Jordan Thornton, 90, of Arcadia were held Wednesday, April 12, 1989 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Arcadia. Rev. Robert L. Peyton and Rev. Bill Rowell officiated. Burial site at Arcadia Cemetery. Nettie Thornton was a member of the Arcadia First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Agnes C. Thomas of Shreveport; four sisters, Mildred Larry of Natchez, Mississippi, Inez Farmer of Arcadia, Earline Jordan of Shreveport, and Mae Watson of Arcadia; two brothers, Revis Jordan of Arcadia and Loy Jordan of Texas City, Texas; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
