Funeral services for Mona K. HIldreth of Amarillo were held at Paramount Terrace Christian Church with Rev. Mark Zimmerman officiating.
Mrs. Hildreth was raised in Olney.
She graduated from North Texas State College in 1937 with a degree in education and home economics..
She taught for several years before becoming the assistant home demonstration agent in Lubbock in 1949.
She served as agent in Tulia before moving to Canyon, where she was agent for Randall County and later Potter County until her retirement in 1979.
She became a member of Delta Kappa Gamma in 1967 and was chapter president from 1978 to 1980.
Survivors: one son - Tom Hildreth and wife, Vicki of Lafayette, CO; four sisters - Lois Lester of Victoria, Jeff Rae Cook of Sterling, KS; Dorothy Garett of Owensboro, KS, JoDell King of Norman, OK; two grandsons.
