Funeral services for Mrs. J.R. Rodman, who died at her home in Greene, Thursday were conducted at the Presbyterian church here, Sunday at 1:30 p.m. Ella Harriet Burrows, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Burrows, was born at Dysart, June 10, 1884. Was married January 20, 1904, at La Porte City. She leaves her husband, seven daughters, Mrs. John Richardson, Belle Plaine; Mrs. Glenn Knutson, Fredericksburg; Mrs. Carl Smith, Ionia; Mrs. Vern Schmidt, Allison; Mrs. Arthur Weiss, Greene; Ethel and Inez Rodman, at home; three sons, John Fredericksburg, Kenneth and John, Greene. One daughter died in infancy. Also leaves 15 grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Maude Brailler and Mrs. George Cook, La Porte City; four brothers, Earnest, Ray and John Burrows, La Porte City, and Clifford Burrows, Waterloo.
Burial was in West View cemetery.
