"Wash" was a town militiaman for Clarksville. He died of "exposure and wounds inflicted" during the Civil War. His sons Willis, born in 1849 died in 1861 and Edward born in 1851 died in 1861 are probably buried next to their father.
US General Land Office Records signed by James Buchanan granted to William W Easterwood 1 Mar 1860 38.89 acres in Clarksville. Then on 15 Dec 1860 the US General Land Office Records show William Washington Easterwood is granted 120 acres in Clarksville signed by James Buchanan.
