Franklin Moor was the son of Hiram Dunlap Moor and Abigail Franklin. He was also the brother to Victoria Josephine Moor Coolidge, the President's mother. Franklin married Agatha Martha Sawyer, the daughter of Winslow Hartwell Sawyer and Martha Lovina Brown. The President's father, John Coolidge, sold his portion of the Dry Goods store to Franklin.
