I am a mother to 8 beautiful and wonderful children and grandmother to 4. A wife to a wonderful and handsome man who serves in the Army as a Physician Assistant. My interest in genealogy began as a "neat" little homeschooling project to learn about history through our family members. I also wanted to gain more information on my Sawyer family, as my mother's step-sister took everything that belonged to my mother's dad and sold it at the death of my mother's step-mother. I wanted to honor my grandfather and at least find out what I could about his "people" to tell to my children. Next thing I knew I was hooked, finding myself staying up til all hours scouring the internet and then walking through cemeteries. So, I am just sharing what I have found personally, or that which has been shared with me by others who walk among the dead.
