Estelle McAdams was born to James Thomas McAdams and Mary Elizabeth "Lizzie" Moore. They married in Navarro County, Texas on November 9, 1903. This union was blessed by God with 9 bundles of joy, that I am aware of.

Lee B McAdams
Lela Irene McAdams, Lewis
Ada Minerva "Big Mama" McAdams, Baxter
Sarah Idella "Della" McAdams, Jeffcoat
Estelle McAdams, McAlister---TWIN
Earsell McAdams, Gaston------TWIN
Ethel Agnes McAdams, Walding
Claudia Lyene McAdams, Trodusky
James Wilburn McAdams

Estelle and Earsell were born together on the same day, they are twins and stayed very close throughout their lives, till death parted them.

Estelle met and married Willie Earl McAlister and their union together was blessed by God, with 2 girls.

Janette McAlister
Betty Jean McAlister

Estelle was a Waitress at the White Kitchen, on Main Street in Livingston, Polk County, Texas for many years. I remember going their, as a kid and seeing her on our trips up from Waco, Texas. We had to stop and see Estelle! I remember her being a go-getter and keeping up with all the hustle and bustle of the Restaurant, in her little apron! She worked for Mr. & Mrs. Cook and when they passed away, the Restaurant was passed to their son. He later closed it up and the White Kitchen no longer exists. It was a very popular eating establishment, back in the day!

Estelle went to Beauty School and graduated around the end of March 1962. She went into partnership with her daughter, Janette McAlister and became a Beautician, as they worked side by side each other daily in their shop. It wasn't too long before Estelle realized that, being a Beautician wasn't her passion. She quit the Beautician Business and went back to work at the White Kitchen, being the best waitress in Livingston! Did I mention she always bought me a Soda Pop when we came to visit? lol!
