Lee B McAdams was born to James Thomas McAdams & Mary Elizabeth "Lizzie" Moore. They met and later married on November 9,1903, in Navarro County, Texas. This union was blessed by God with 9 bundles of joy, that I am aware of.

Lee B McAdams
Lela Irene McAdams, Lewis
Ada Minerva "Big Mama" McAdams, Baxter
Sarah Idella "Della" McAdams, Jeffcoat
Estelle McAdams, McAlister---TWIN
Earsell McAdams, Gaston------TWIN
Ethel Agnes McAdams, Walding
Claudia Lyene McAdams, Trodusky
James Wilburn McAdams

Lee was a young lad, when he was called home. He missed out on marriage and having children of his own, running in and out of the house.

The death certificate for Lee is wrong about the birth. Mary Elizabeth had Lela Irene in July 16,1904, so it would be impossible to have another child a month later, back then. I found a 1910 Census and it lists Lee born 1904 and Lela 1906 (which is wrong), but it does imply he was older that Lela Irene.

I am still researching and conferring with the family that is in the know. So at this time my guess is, that Lee was born in 1903, using the 1910 Census as a guide. If that doesn't pan out, then he will have to be born in 1906-07. We will know more when the stone photo comes in. Unfortunately there is very few documents on Lee, due to his young age.

Another unknown about Lee is what he died from. On his death certificate, the COD is 189! Here's what I found~~

189. Cause of death not specified or ill defined.

It may be extremely difficult or impossible to
determine definitely the cause of death in
some cases, even if a post-mortem be granted.
If the physician is absolutely unable to satisfy
himself in this respect, it is better for him
to write Unknown than merely to guess at
the cause. It will be helpful if he can specify
a little further, as Unknown disease (which
excludes external causes)', or Unknown
chronic disease (which excludes the acute
infective diseases), etc. Even the ill defined
causes included under this head are at least
useful to a limited degree, and are preferable
to no attempt at statement. Some of the
old "chronics," which well-informed Physi-
cians are coming less and less to use, are the
following: Asphyxia; Asthenia; Bilious fever;
Cachexia; Catarrhal fever; Collapse; Coma;
Congestion; Cyanosis; Debility; Delirium;
Dentition; Dyspnoea; Exhaustion; Fever; Gas-
tric fever; HEART FAILURE; Laparotomy;
Marasmus; Paralysis of the heart; Surgical
shock; and Teething. In many cases so re-
ported the physician could state the disease
(not mere symptom or condition) causing
death.

Lee Went out with a bang! He is buried in a little ole town called Crisp, Texas and that is the home of Ernest Tubb! I can just imagine the huge smile that would bring on little Lee's face! Now Lee is cradled in the arms of Jesus and dancing from Star to Star in Heaven!
