After a long and hard fought illness, Constance Ardelle Erck Davis died peacefully Thursday, April 28, 2005 in Tacoma. She was 67. The daughter of Stella and Conrad Erck, she was born October 14, 1937 in South Dakota. She married Darrel Davis on July 17, 1954. Ardelle was a resident of Kent and Auburn from 1959 until 2003. She was a loving mother, wife and homemaker. She would like everyone to remember her for her caring personality, sense of humor and respect for others. Survivors include her sons, Bruce Davis, of Eagle River, Alaska, Chris Davis of Renton and a daughter, Karen Davis of Louisville, CO; her daughter-in-laws, Kathy and Tanya Davis; her son-in-law, Joe Levine, four grandchildren, Nathan and Matt Davis and Dustin and Alexa Levine; her sister Diane Perry and two brothers, Kenneth and Curt Erck. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 3, 2005 at Woodbine Cemetery in South Puyallup at 1:00 p.m. with a memorial gathering following at the home of Chris and Tanya Davis. All friends and family are invited to come and share memories of Ardelle. Arrangements are in the care of Personal Alternative Funeral Services, 253-852-9600.
