Deborah Sue Clements, age 46, resident of Fort Scott, Kansas, died Friday, June 17, 2011, at the Mercy Health Center, Fort Scott. She was born December 24, 1964, in Fort Scott, the daughter of Larry Joe and Diane Elaine Lang Clements. She graduated from Fort Scott High School in the class of 1983. Deborah loved outdoor activities as well as playing dominoes, watching movies, and listening to music.

Survivors include one son, Jerry Clements; and two daughters, Amanda Clements and ShayLynn Clements, all of Fort Scott. Also surviving is one sister, Donna Jo Beerbower and husband David, Fort Scott; one grandchild, LaDonte Clements; four nieces, Sarah Jo McKay, Jennifer Fountain, Katie Jo Hull, and Brooke Clements; and one nephew, Jake Clements. She was preceded in death by special friend Harvey Rogers; one brother, Larry Joe (Bub) Clements; as well as her parents.

There was cremation. William James Schafer will conduct graveside memorial services at 11:00 Friday, June 24, in the Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until leaving for the cemetery at 10:45 a.m. at the Cheney Witt Chapel. Memorials are suggested to the Deborah Clements Memorial Fund and may be left in care of the Cheney Witt Chapel, PO Box 347, 201 S. Main, Fort Scott, Kansas 66701.
