MAYFIELD, Ky. -- Services for Lexye Belle Boyd Waldrop, 102, of Mayfield, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church in Mayfield. The Rev. Dr. Charles Parker and Rev. Gregory Waldrop will officiate. Burial will be in the Highland Park Mausoleum.

Mrs. Waldrop died at 4 a.m. Sunday at her home.

Survivors include four daughters, Ruth H. Williams of Paducah, Vivian L. Reed of Mayfield, Jeanette B. Street of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Willie Belle Farless of Murray; a son, Ralph T. Waldrop of Mayfield, 14 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, H.C. Waldrop. Her parents were
Willie Alice Boyd and Thomas Jefferson Boyd.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield.

The body will lie in state at the church from 1 p.m. until the funeral hour Tuesday.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Murray State University Foundation, Waldrop Scholarship Fund, Office of Development, Murray, Ky. 42071.
