Elizabeth B. Anderson, 94 of Roy, passed away Sunday, June 13, 2010, at her home in Roy. She was born Nov. 9, 1915, in Solano, the daughter of Joseph and Ida Mae Glascock- Allen. Elizabeth was a homemaker, rancher, and the Harding County Clerk and Treasurer for many years.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Roy and a member of the American Legion of Roy. Elizabeth worked for the Lord all of her life all the way up to her death teaching Sunday School and playing the piano at her Church. she would walk every day using this time to pray.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Grady O. Anderson, two brothers and five sisters.

She is survived by three daughters, Martha Mae Schell and husband Louis of Roy, Marian Rae McKay and husband Ronald of Dalhart, Texas, and Gloria Odell Hagler and husband Tommy of Albuquerque; one sister, Ida Josephine Howell of Florence, Kent.; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Visitation was June 17 at the First Baptist Church in Roy. Funeral services followed Pastor John Spruill officiating. Burial was in the Solano Cemetery.

Arrangements and celebration of love for Elizabeth B. Anderson are under the direction of the Yaksich-Long Funeral Home of Raton.
