Mrs. Sadie M. Bryant, age 86, of Mena, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday,
February 22, 2011 in Mena.
She was born February 16, 1925 in Robeline, Louisiana to the late Robert Lee Hall and the late Allie Claude Hubbard Hall. She was united in marriage to the late J. H. Bryant. She was a homemaker by profession and enjoyed reading, crocheting and was an avid fisherwoman. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great- great-grandmother and friend and will be missed by her loving friends and family.
She is survived by:
Grandchildren: Shellie Fairless of Hatfield, Arkansas; Charles Bryant of Gadson, Alabama; Toby Bryant of Gladewater, Texas; David Bryant of Bay City, Texas; Stephanie Bryant of Bay City, Texas; and Scott McPherson of Gladewater, Texas
Adopted Daughter: Meayrene Taylor of
Mena, Arkansas
7 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren, 4 sisters, and 2 brothers
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Allie Claude Hall, her husband, J. H. Bryant, a son, Charles Bryant, and one brother.
Mrs. Bryant was sent for cremation under the direction of the Beasley-Wood Funeral Home. The family plans to have a memorial service in Natchitoches, Louisiana at a later time.
