Charles R. Craft, 78 years old, a retired farmer, died at his home at Pocahontas at 4 a.m. today. Mr. Craft was born in the same community on Feb. 5, 1880.

His parents were Henry Craft and Mrs. Susan Bishop Craft.

The following are the survivors: his wife, Ida May Heider Craft; two children, Mrs. Hugh Phillips and Raleigh Craft of near Pocahontas, four step children, Mrs. Dora Ramsperger of St. Louis, Amie Holifield of Jackson, Earl Heider of near Jackson and Walter Heider of St. Louis; a sister, Mrs. James Smith of near Jackson, five grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

The body is at the Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home and services will be conducted at New Bethel Baptist Church near Pocahontas at 2:30 on Monday. Rev. Glenn Cummings and Rev. David Morgan will be in charge. Burial is to be at the New Bethel Cemetery.

(Married Catherine (Katie) Clingingsmith on Nov. 12, 1913 in Jackson, Cape Girardeau Co., Missouri.
Children: Lola Craft Phillips, Rollie Craft, Oran E., Ernst Craft. Married Ida May Clingingsmith Heider on March 23, 1938.)
