Thomas Lee Craft, 86 years old, a lifelong resident of Neelys Landing, died of the infirmities of advanced age at the home of Hugh Phillips in Neelys Landing.

He was born Feb. 7, 1867, son of Mrs. and Mrs. Henry Craft. He was first married June 13, 1891 to Miss Pheny Levi, who died May 22, 1910. They were parents of nine children, six of whom survive. On Dec. 12, 1912, he and Miss Collie Phillips were married. She died July 2, 1926. They were parents of six children.

Surviving are four sons, Hardie of Kennett, Seth of Cape Girardeau, Wilson of Neelys Landing and Joyce of Tipp City, Ohio; eight daughters, Mrs. Denver Thomas of Neelys Landing, Mrs. Barrett Adams and Miss Grace Craft of Cape Girardeau; Mrs. Russell Reynolds of Lewisburg, O., Mrs. Harry Dockters of Indianapolis, Ind., Miss Eutha Craft of Jackson, Mrs. Roy McLard of Rockford, Ill., and Mrs. John McLard of St. Louis; two stepchildren, Mrs. Bernice Rumfelt and Hugh Phillips of Neelys Landing; a sister, Mrs. J.H. Smith of Neelys Landing; two brothers, Alfred and Charlie Craft of Neelys Landing; 26 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

The body is at the Deneke-Laird Funeral Home here. A short prayer service will be conducted there before services at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at New Bethel Baptist Church. Rev. A.J. Langston will have charge of services. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
