Relatives here received word last week of the death of Mrs. Laura Gourley at the home of her son at Italia, Colorado. She visited relatives here a few years ago.

Laura Rachel Baker, daughter of Judge Samuel L. Baker and Rachel Davidson, was born January 12, 1856 in Linn County, Missouri and died January 23 1923 in Haigler, Nebraska. She married Frank William Action on February 4, 1872 in Montgomery County, Iowa. They had two children, Charles and Samuel. She married John G. Gourley on December 23, 1886 in Adams County, Iowa. They had three children, Harry, Samuel, and Lewis.
