Our beloved partner, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many, Penny Bentley Adams, 53, passed away on June 13, 2011 in Cedar City, Utah surrounded by her family and friends after a fulfilling and wonderful life to be with her Heavenly Father.

She was born May 11, 1958 in Richfield, Utah to James Alfred and Lila Giles Bentley. She graduated from high school as a Sterling Scholar and excelled in softball and other sports. She married Carlin G. Adams on October 2, 1980. Penny was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and had a faithful testimony of Our Savior's love and plan for each of us. Penny will be dearly missed until we are all reunited once again.

We are certain a happy and joyous reunion is taking place above as Penny is preceded in death by her husband, Carlin G. Adams and son Bryan Earl Adams.

She is survived by her daughters Carly Ann Adams and Kimberly Adams and her son, Joshua Alley. Her grandchildren Sydney Turner, Joey Turner, Brooklyn Adams and Jocilynn Alley. Sisters Dorothy (Vanar) Okerland of Lyman, Utah, Delia (Dan) Stewart of Teasdale, Utah, Glenda Tanner and Addie Lou Lambertson. Brothers James Robert Bentley, Keith G. Christensen and Steve Christensen. Also her partner and best friend, Dennis Carter, who remained faithful to Penny to the very end.
