Louise Sinift Barnes Edmondson was born in Cambria, Iowa,on June 12, 1920 to Edward and Fern Sinift. She devoted her life to kids and education and was an elementary school teacher for over 30 years before retiring in York. She moved to Cambria, Calif., in 1984 following the death of her first husband, Arnold M. Barnes.
Louise kept herself busy with Presbyterian and Christian Womens' organizations and donated her time to the Children's Learning Center at the church.
She was the beloved wife of the late Rupert Edmondson who died in 2002 after 15 years of marriage. . .
"A memorial service will be held at the Community Presbyterian Church of Cambria Sunday, Oct. 3 at 2 p.m. The family requests donations be made in memory of Louise Edmondson to the Presbyterian Learning Center of Cambria.
Arrangements were under the direction of Benedict-Rettey Mortuary and Crematory of Morro Bay, Calif."
