C.O. BRAMMER, AGENT OF SHORE WORKERS, DIES HEART ATTACK IS FATAL TO UNION
LEADER HERE; FUNERAL TOMORROW
Carl O. Brammer, 65, 629 Vincil Street, died at 2:50 o'clock yesterday afternoon in Whitaker Hospital, where he had been a patient for about 10 days following a heart attack.
Born east of Jacksonville, Mr. Brammer had lived in Moberly the past 30 years. He was employed by Brown shoe factory about 30 years and in later years served as business manager of the Boot and Shoe Workers Union here. Mr. Brammer, a member of Carpenter Street Baptist Church, served as a deacon for 20 Years.
Surviving are his wife; his mother, Mrs. Lucy Brammer of Moberly; two daughters, Mrs. Dugan Bradley of Moberly and Mrs. Billy Durham of Fairfax, VA; one son Sgt. Roy C. Brammer, USA, of Brookfield; two granddaughters; a sister, Mrs. T.W. Kamp of Moberly; and two brothers, Ralph Brammer of Jacksonville and Hurbert Brammer of Kansas City.
The body is at the Cater Funeral Home. Services will be conducted at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon in Carpenter Street Baptist Church by the paster, Dr. Paul Weber.
Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
