He was born Oct. 19, 1953, to Ralph and Palma (Amundson) Moen at Rice Lake. He was raised in the Town of Dallas and attended school at Barron, where he graduated in 1972. He lived and worked on the home farm his entire life, where he did custom round baling and raised and sold replacement heifers.
He enjoyed cutting firewood, spending time with his family, playing with his nieces and nephews, and going to the casino.
Surviving are his brother, Randall (Mary Jo) of the Town of Sioux Creek, Barron County; a sister, Janet (David) Hensgen of New Auburn; nieces and nephews, Becky, Kayla, Carl, Molly, and Andrew Moen; and aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service for the family will be held from Mark Rausch Funeral Home, Dallas, Rev. Ralph Marquardt officiating.
Visitation 4-8 p.m. Thursday, July 24, from the funeral home.
