Erma M. Halsell, 97, of Cedar Haven, formerly of Arnold St., Lebanon, died Monday, June 6, 2011, in the Good Samaritan Hospital. She was the wife of the late Kenneth A. Halsell. She was born May 3, 1914, in Quentin, a daughter of the late Isaac and Margie Dissinger Shuey. She was employed as a sewing machine operator for various dress and shirt factories. Erma was a member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Lebanon. She enjoyed reading, sewing, and volunteered with RSVP for 25 years, serving dinners at the Senior Center at Quentin United Church of Christ. She is survived by daughters, Bonnie Fulmer of Lebanon, and Joan, wife of Larry Schmehl of Bethel; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Stanley Reeves of Voorhees, N.J.; sister, Lynne Freeman of Lebanon; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by daughters, Patricia Reeves and Shirley Halsell; grandson, Brad Fulmer; son-in-law, Bruce Fulmer; brothers, Delbert Shuey, Kenneth Shuey, and Austin Shuey; and sisters, Agnes Aungst, Kathryn Brandt, and Lucille Gibble. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 14, at 2 p.m. in the Rohland Funeral Home, 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon, with a viewing beginning on Tuesday at 1 p.m. Interment will be made in the Mt.
