Lucille D. Gibble, 91, passed away Friday, January 21, 2011, at her residence. She was the wife of the late Joseph K. Gibble, who passed away in 1976. Born in Quentin on August 17, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Isaac and Margie Dissinger Shuey. Lucille was a homemaker and loved being among her family. She was a member of Quentin United Church of Christ. Surviving are two daughters, Doris, wife of George Wolfe, Jr., Lebanon and Joyce Hinkel, Myrtle Beach S.C.; four sons, Russell L., husband of Linda Gibble, Quentin; Jeffrey L. Gibble, at home; Ricky J. , husband of Beverly Gibble and Timothy Gibble, both of Lebanon; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Erma Halsell and Arlene Freeman, both of Lebanon. Lucille was preceded in death by brothers, Austin, Kenneth, Delmar Shuey; and sisters, Katheryn Brandt and Agnes Aungst. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Lucille's funeral from the Ruffner-Porterfield Funeral Directors & Cremation Services, Ltd., 890 Isabel Drive, Lebanon, on Friday at 10 a.m. with Rev. Jacquelyn Linglebach officiating. Friends will be received Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Quentin Cemetery.
