A.J. Waymire
A.J. Waymire age 80, of Rossburg, Ohio, passed away on June 9, 2011, at 6:37 p.m. at his daughter's residence.
He was born Sept. 26, 1930, in Darke County, Ohio the sone of the late James and Mildred (McKhann) Waymire.
He worked for AVCO New Idea in Coldwater, Ohio, retiring in 1992. He was a member of the Community United Methodist Church, Union City.
He is preceded in death by his parents; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sister, Phyllis June Zeller; and brother-in-law, Glen Fourman.
His survived by his wife, maxine (Shook) Waymire of Rossburg, whom he married Feb. 11, 1950; children and spouses, Karen and Eric Link of Portland, Ind., Katie and Larry Hummel of Rossburg, Randy Waymire and JoAnne Trick of Rossburg, Ruth and Bill Fourman of Rossburg, Nancy and Roger Songer of Abingdon, Va.; 19 grandchildren and souses; 35 great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jean Fourman of Greenville, Dorothy and Robert Bubeck of North Star, Retha Bubeck of Greenville; brother and sister-n-law, J.C. and D'Arlene Waymire of Greenville; brother-in-law, Raymon Zeller of Versailles; numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio, with Pastor Chris Barhorst officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Twp. Memorial Gardens.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to State of the Heart Hospice. Condolences for the family may be sent to www.zecharbailey.com.
