On an unrecorded date and place before 1780, Mary m. Jabez Bingham, 3rd, s. of Jabez Bingham, Jr. and Mary Wheelock, latter the half sibling of Rev. Eleazer Wheelock, founder of Dartmouth College at Hanover, NH. Eleazer was the son of Dea. Ralph Wheelock by his 1st wife Ruth Huntington, whereas Mary (Wheelock) Bingham was the only child of Dea. Ralph Wheelock by 2nd wife Mercy Standish, granddau. of Capt. Miles Standish (1620 Mayflower) and his wife Barbara (1623 Little James) of the Plymouth Colony.

Mary Mitchell and husband Jabez Bingham had four recorded children who are outlined in their father's memorial. The birth record for the 5th child, daughter Fanny (Bingham) Chandler at Hanover, NH, has not been found. However, she is included in the will and subsequent distribution and sale of the real estate of her maternal grandfather David Mitchell of South Hadley, MA.

On the day Mary died she was 28 years old, and Ætatis suæ (i.e., Æ, "Aged," in the XX year of her Age) 29, indicated she was b. AFTER June 25, 1761.
